Who Overcomes the World

1 John 5:5 AMP
“Who is the one who is victorious and overcomes the world? It is the one who believes and recognizes the fact that Jesus is the Son of God.”

Note that John says the victorious ones believe, and knows for a fact, and understands what it means that Jeus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. It means that God came in the likeness of sinful flesh to subdue sin in the flesh. He is the light that leads us in darkness.

He is the one who showed us the true Father. He is the one who paid the ransom for you and me. He is the one who conquered over death, hell, and the grave by coming back to life after His death.

He is the one who sits at the right hand of His Father on the throne and makes intercession for you and me. He is the one who is coming back for you and me and will take us to our true home.

For now, we have the power, the anointing and the divine favor to overcome in a dark world. The world’s intolerance for Christians continues but they will never silence the message. Our faith and belief in God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is our victory.

Prayer:
Lord, our victory rests with You! You are the reason that we are forgiven, You are the reason that we have a hope and a future. You are the reason we can look forward to peace forever, You are the reason I know the victory is ours! In Your name Lord, Amen!
