“If We Would Only Listen”
Psalms 81: 13-16 (portions)
“Oh, that my people would listen to me…I would soon subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their foes… But he would feed you with the finest of the wheat, and with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.”

Listening to God would keep us out of so much trouble, but as human nature would have it, we choose our own paths. If we would just listen to God, He would come in like a mighty army and subdue all that appose us. He would feed us both physically and spiritually and become our closest ally, our firm foundation, or champion, if we would only listen.
