1 John 3:1 NIV

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.”

We are children of God if we have given our life completely to Him. To make our Father proud of us, we have to act like we are children of the Creator and not children of the world. To act like everyone else, we are not bringing God the glory .

As the days become more evil we have to concentrate on what pleases the Father. As we do that, the world will hate us because we do not act like they do. But understand, the world hated Him first. We are not here to please the world, we are here to glorify and magnify God with our lives.

Prayer:
Father, help me to be more like you and less like the world. I want to glorify You with my words, deeds and the way I walk before You!
