All In the Name of Jesus

Colossians 3:13 ESV
“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus,  giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

Now if we did EVERYTHING whether what we say or how we react, or everything we do, we did all for God and in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I believe there are a few things we would not do or say.

We give concessions to ourselves saying, nobody is perfect or we are doing the best we can. When in fact if we thought everything through before we spoke or before we acted, Would that be a bad thing?

If we considered that we are Christians and we represent Christ, and the people in the world would judge Christ by our words and actions we would probably handle things differently.

Prayer:
Lord, help me in what I say and what I do, that I purposefully speak and act to bring glory to your name.
