Light for the Upright

Psalms 112:4 ESV
“Light dawns in the darkness for the upright…”

The upright are recipients for all that God has. But how do we know if we are upright? The word upright is defined as someone who is honest, honorable, straightforward. Someone who has unchanging standards and who is genuine.

So how does the light dawn in darkness for the upright. It could be a moment of revelation. It could be that things turn around for the better, receiving the blessings of God when things seem hopeless. It could be an illness has lifted or the depression has ceased, and made life bearable again.

Prayer:
Lord, we all face dark times in our lives. As we trust in You, bring the light to scatter the darknes. Remove the pain and bring us peace.
