Weak/Strong

2 Corinthians 12:7b-10 ESV
“A thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me.  But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

It may be hard for people to understand what we have been through in our lives, but Jesus knows. It may be hard to explain to people the way we feel from time to time or all of the time for that matter, but Jesus knows. Sometimes it’s hard to understand why these things have not been taken away as yet, but Jesus is waiting for us to give it all to Him

His strength is made perfect in our weakness, our times of trouble, in our sorrows and pain, His strength is perfect! Today, give it all, give it all to Jesus, the shattered dreams, broken hearts, worries, fears, and our sorrows. Jesus is waiting!

Prayer:
Lord, we have carried these things around for so long, it is hard to let them go, to be free. We have proved that we can’t do anything about what torments us, but You can. Jesus, You know! AMEN!
