Everything We Need

2 Peter 1:3 AMP
“For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.”

Have you ever wondered why you were not as talented as your brother or sister or maybe a friend? Well, the fact is, you and I have everything that we need to fulfill God’s plan for our life. Imagine that, EVERYTHING we need for this life and how to live it successfully, and EVERYTHING we need to live a godly inspired life. Fully equipped to do the tasks and ministries He has called us to do.

Whatever He called us to do, He has given us what we need to fulfill His plan and everything we need to give us fulfillment in our quest. If we have our eyes on someone else, and why they have more gifts and talents, we need to get our eyes back on God.

He has called us to run our own race, not someone else’s race. We are not missing anything. We are fully equipped. But we have a choice about whether or not we’ll really use those spiritual tools, that is the key, using the right tools for the specified job at hand.

Prayer:
Lord, everyone who has read this devotion today knows that they are fully equipped to do what you have asked them to do. It’s up to them know to fully engage and put their hands to the plow, so to speak, (Start doing the work).
