The Lord Knows All
Exodus 14:1-3 NIV
“Then the Lord said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites to turn back and encamp near Pi Hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea. They are to encamp by the sea, directly opposite Baal Zephon. Pharaoh will think, ‘The Israelites are wandering around the land in confusion, hemmed in by the desert.”
The purpose in using this scripture this morning is to let everyone know, not only does God know what we are thinking, He knows what the enemy is thinking. I know what some are saying, if God knows what our enemies are thinking, then why doesn’t He just confuse the enemy or stop our enemies? Well, He does or He at least sets the plan wanting us to listen to Him and follow His direction. Unfortunately most of the us rely on our own intellect. Know this, if we are facing tough times or we have an enemy we can’t seem to shake, God will use that situation to trust Him more, rely on Him more, building our faith in Him more. It took God forty years to get the Israelites to trust Him and He used the next generation to receive His promises. God knows human nature. In our quest in life, stay close to Him, listen to Him, He will get us through EVERY situation if we will rely completely on Him.
Prayer:
Lord, I pray I listen and pay attention to what you are doing in my life. When I listen to You, and you are listening to my enemies, I know You are providing my way to victory. In Your name Lord Jesus I pray, Amen!
