John 16:13

“When the Spirit of truth (The Holy Spirit) comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.”

First, notice that Jesus said in John 8:28 I “speak just what the Father has taught me.” and in the passage today He says, that the Holy Spirit will speak what He hears.  The Trinity is all on the same page and the best that you and I can do is speak what we hear the Trinity is saying.  Secondly, the Trinity is working for you and me leading and guiding us into all truth, declaring to us the things to come.  What do we do with this knowledge?  Base the rest of your life on what we are hearing from the Trinity.
