Make Disciples
Matthew 28:19-20 ESV
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
You may have heard the phrase “each one reach one.” That phrase meant if we could all win at least one sinner to Christ we could reach the world. Last year I asked God to help me, and my wife touch more souls for Jesus in our remaining years on this earth, than I touched in the first 47 years of ministry.
How can we do that? Making ourselves available to people is one way. Touching lives wherever we can. Sending messages of hope and encouragement to many people through email, texts, devotions, and social media is another way. Giving to home missions and foreign missions that we know are reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ is another.
There are endless possibilities for touching lives for Jesus Christ. Find your avenue. Ask God to open up doors, find missions that you can support. Missions that you know are doing a work for the Lord, reaching the lost for Jesus. Let God lead you in touching lives for Him and whatever avenue that you have.
Prayer:
Lord it is my desire to live for You! It is my desire to touch as many lives as I possibly can with Your help. Open up doors for me to share my testimony and to minister the Word of God to souls that need You.
