Ecclesiastes 11:1 NKJV
“Cast your bread upon the waters, For you will find it after many days.”

The blessing of this verse is that it can carry great meaning in many aspects. If we put seed money in an investment, and we have studied diligently and prayed about how we invest, seeking God’s wisdom, and we watch the market carefully then we can expect to receive a profit in our money.

If you put money into a new business and we know beyond a shadow of doubt God brought you that business to our attention, then you can expect a profit. If we give back to God a portion of what He has given us, even though we should not expect a return, but still God says that He will open up the heavens and pour out a blessing on us that we cannot contain.

If we sow into a person’s life, love, encouragement and blessings we will see the fruits of what we have sown. If we give our lives to God completely, knowing He will walk with us, we reap the benefit of that relationship.

Prayer:
Father, use me to sow into the kingdom so I can reap the benefits of Your blessings.
