John 15:9 AMP

“I have loved you just as the Father has loved Me; remain in My love [and do not doubt My love for you].”

We all need to be loved, but more than that, we need the love and relationship that comes with knowing the Father and the Son. To explain that love; Jesus and the Father are one, there is no separation from each other. Every word that Jesus speaks He says those words come from the Father.

Jesus spends his last few days on earth, in a special time of care for the disciples. and He shares His and the Father’s love and relationship with His disciples. Then He lays down His life to buy back the freedom that we do not deserve but He wants it for us anyway. That’s love!

Prayer: Father, as you love your Son, your Son shares that love and relationship with us. Thank you Father, I don’t always feel like I deserve this kind of love, but I’m thankful that I know that love is always there anyway!
