Zechariah 4: 6

“…Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.”

The angel of the Lord came to Zerubbabel and gave him this message from God to encourage him as he was laying the foundation of the second temple of God.

For you and me, this phrase tells us it is not by our strength that we accomplish God’s work, it’s not by our power but it’s by God’s Spirit that we conquer and achieve a work for Him. We may have some strength but it is by God’s Spirit that the work is completed.
