Psalms 37:5-6 ESV

“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.”

Commitment to God is giving God charge of everything in our lives, our spirit, heart, mind (thought processes) and our body and allow Him to live through us. Once we have committed all to God and we are allowing Him to set our path and we are following Him wholeheartedly, we will begin to trust Him. Jesus said we were going to experience troubles in this life, but if we trust Him, we will have His peace to see us through, (John 16:33).

Our righteousness is our moral goodness, our actions and deeds when done through Christ in us. The rightness of our actions and character, helps us to reflect His light to the world. Our justice is our vindication, and it will be revealed with absolute clarity and splendor, leaving no room for questioning our character or ability in Jesus. 

Prayer:

Lord, as we commit ourselves to You and begin to trust You more, use us for Your glory and honor. Let the works that we do for You reflect You. Help us to trust Your timing, then You will vindicate us, then You will cause the works that we do for You to bring You honor and praise. In Your name Lord Jesus we ask, Amen!
