Blessings

Psalms 112:1-2 ESV

“Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man (or woman) who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in His commandments! His (or her) offspring will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.”

Blessed (prosperous and highly favored) by God is all who have a deep sense of awe of the greatness and majesty of our God. Those who reverence Him and obey Him and take His words as the very essence of life. Knowing that His words are health, healing, anointing and power. With those who hold dear the presence of God and who honor His words daily seeking the truth in His words, He grants that they will be mighty in the land and their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren will be mighty (strong, anointed and courageous) in the land.

Those who we have influenced in our walk with God in this life whether children, nephews or nieces, friends, or spiritual children, they will be blessed beyond measure because of the life we have lived before God.

That is the heritage of the upright of heart, who love the presence of the Lord and those who seek His words as if searching for pure gold.

Prayer:

Lord, I praise you and thank You just for who You are to us. You are the Almighty, Holy God, Master of the universe, yet You reside in our hearts as well. We delight in Your presence and bask in Your love. Your words are like honey to our lips, strength to our hearts, wisdom to our minds, and anointing to our character. We reflect Your glory, Lord! Thank You for blessing those we have come to influence in this life and blessing our children, our grandchildren and our great grandchildren, Amen!
