Deuteronomy 7:9-10 ESV

“Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,  and repays to their face those who hate Him… He will not be slack with one who hates him. He will repay him to His face.”

This passage starts out with a very important promise to those who truly love God deeply, and keeps His commandments. Love and obey, there is no other way! What will that bring such a person?

A covenant relationship with the creator of all things and blessings for a thousand generations. If you follow what a thousand generations is…that’s all your relatives forever. For those that hate God, those who doubt Him, doubt His word, doubt His blessings, that’s the same as hating Him. To those, He will remove from His presence, simple as that.
