My Strength and Shield

Psalms 91:2-6,11 NLT
“This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust Him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.

Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go.”

Whatever we are facing today, God is our refuge and strength, trust in Him. God is not just on our side, He is in us and lives through us. He will protect, deliver, heal, restore, lead, guide, direct, fight our battles, He will stand between us and the enemy.

He will be our sword and shield. He is our Comfort, our Provider, our Father, Creator and Lord. Whatever is going on in our lives today, we lay it at His feet. Be specific, be direct but be humble and ask!

Prayer:
Father, we trust in You, You are all we have, the only one we can count on. Deliver us today, protect, encourage, strengthen us today please?
