The Days That You Formed for Me

 Psalms 139:15-16 ESV
“My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.  Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.”

Most people do not believe they are special, some people do not even know that they are loved. So, it’s our job to tell them in case they do not know or remember.

We have been formed in secret, but intricately made for, and by God. Even though we may feel like a few things could have been made better, we are exactly who God wants us to be.

Things may be falling apart in our bodies, but I assure everyone, that God did a good job when He made us. But I believe David is actually speaking of our character, who we are, what our abilities would be, what we were capable of accomplishing.

You see, God did not make me to be a mountain climber or a politician. You can’t get out, what God didn’t put in! We were so deeply loved that God began long before we were born, putting in all the things we would need in this life. They are there, we just need to brush the dust off and use what God gave us.

David says, “…in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.” Even before the first day at conception, God had a list of days that we would be on the earth to manifest His glory! Each day He has planned, each day He is moving obstacles, each day He is opening doors.

Prayer:
Lord God, You have a list of my days, fulfill Your plan in me every day! In Your name Lord God Almighty, Amen!
