Genesis 22:13-14 NKJV

“Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. And Abraham called the name of the place, Jehovah Jireh, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, ‘In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.”’

When Abraham was told to sacrifice his son, Abraham did not hesitate. He did as the Lord commanded. God knew what Abraham would do and Abraham knew what God would do. That’s what happens in a close relationship.

When Abraham headed up the mountain to sacrifice his son, he told his servants “we will return,” That meant he knew God was not going to take his son. Being in a close relationship with God is beneficial. He can and will be your Jehovah Jireh too, just remain faithful and trust Him.
