More to Be Desired than Gold

Psalms 19:7b,8b,10 NKJV
“The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.”

God’s words are so amazing, reading or hearing His words on a continual basis has the ability to make us wiser. David says that the Word of God can make even a simple person wise.

David says in verse 8 that God’s Word’s gives us insight, direction and descetion. God’s Word will give us the ability to see into matters with great understanding, and the ability to see matters that were once hidden.

Just in case you were wondering, yes, everyone could benefit from God’s Word’s if they would just read them continuously! That’s why David said about God’s Words; they are more to be desired than even the purest gold. God’s Word’s to a person who is seeking truth and justice and meaning are sweeter than honey!

Father Your Words have taken me from the deepest pit to the highest of heights. Your Word’s are a light, a lamp for my feet, Your word gives me the guidance and direction that I need. Your Word’s Father, have given me true life and peace. Your Word’s lift me up and sustains me. I hunger for Your Word’s and You fill me with goodness until my soul is more than satisfied, it is completely refreshed.
