Isaiah 40:27 ESV
“Why do you say, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, “My way is hidden from the Lord, and my right is disregarded by my God”?

We may think we can fool God or that God is not interested in poor little ole me, but nothing could be further from the truth! God does not think as we do or reason like we do. His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.

David said, “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,”

Even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.” (Psalms 139:7-12 ESV)

This is not a courtesy for just King David, this is what God does for each and every one of us. He took time to reveal Himself as the Messiah to an adulterous Samaritan woman at the well. (John 4) He took time to heal a demon possessed lunatic at the tombs. (Luke 8) He took time to heal blind Bartomaeus. (Mark 10) and He watches EVERYTHING you and I do!

He sees us when we are sleeping, daydreaming or just wondering off. My best advice is, let Him have His way, He can make something beautiful of the mess we made!

Father, I give up and I give in. Have your way in me. Make me to be exactly what You want me to be!
