Merry Christmas Eve

Isaiah 9:6

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Today so many need the Savior. To them the celebration of this holiday is about making merry with presents, food, toys, games and hopefully family, but after the glitz and the glamor is over, they will still have a void, they need a Savior. At one time we were lost and without God in our lives. Then someone spoke a word or we had the Spirit drawing us to the Savior and we received Him as Lord and Master of our lives. This is a season of hope, of miracles, I’m praying for a miracle in the wave of a fresh outpouring of the Lords’ Spirit over America and the world. He is the gift for this season, He is our hope, our strength, our deliverance.

This season send someone a message of hope and if you have tried before, try one more time. Perhaps this season they will accept the Savior. They need this “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace,” they just don’t know it yet.

Prayer:

Lord, You are the light of the world. You bring us hope, assurance of grace, and mercy unending and You are our Wonderful Counselor, Our Prince of Peace. You are Immanuel, God with us, and we couldn’t be happier for what You mean to each of us and the unconditional love that You brought us. Today we celebrate You Lord, Amen!
