Isaiah 9:6 ESV
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given…and his name shall be called. Wonderful Counselor…”

This use of the word wonderful not the same as were use the word. This sense of the word is; Jesus is full of wonder because of His Virgin birth, because of His amazing words, because of His healing power, because of His suffering without reviling, because of His death and resurrection, Because of His ability to see as God and see as man. Counselor because their is nothing He doesn’t understand. This “wonderful Counselor” has the means and the wisdom to guide us through any circumstance and trouble. He truly is full of wonder and full of wisdom, knowledge and understanding!
