Colossians 3:23-24

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,  knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.”

As I said yesterday, we are not like everyone else, living for themselves, gratifying self or gratifying anyone watching, IWe as Christians are the representatives in this world, we live for God, pleasing God in everything we say and do. We will not get any lasting reward from this world, nor from the people of this world, any gratification will be short lived at best. If we want the lasting inheritance promised us, we have to please God.
