Faith
Hebrews 11:6 NIV
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.”
Notice the writer says that it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God without faith. It sounds to me like the writer has firsthand experience with this faith walk and he knows what he is talking about. To even approach the Father it takes faith. Don’t even open the door to the throne room of God without believing, trusting, knowing He has our best interest at heart.
We know we have instant access to God through Jesus Christ, but doubting that God can and will completely and utterly fulfill what we need is ludicrous.
I knew this morning before I asked God, for His Kingdom to come and His will would be done on earth as it is in heaven in me and you and our families, in America, in our governments, in Israel and Jerusalem and in the Jewish people all over the world, that He was already at work doing just that, before I asked Him.
I don’t ask as if I may not receive, I don’t shrink back when I ask, I go boldly to the throne knowing whose I am (Hebrews 4:16). I ask fully believing that He will provide all of our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
When we come to Him in faith today, believe that He hears, knows and is providing.
Prayer:
Lord, I come today in faith believing that You know what is best for us, for our families, our country, for Israel and Jerusalem and the Jewish people. Abundantly supply for us Lord today. Give us wisdom, knowledge and understanding, in Your name Lord Jesus we ask, Amen!
