Watch Someone Who You Respect

Psalms 37:37 AMP
“Mark the blameless man [who is spiritually complete], and behold the upright [who walks in moral integrity].”

We don’t have a lot of role models these days. A good Christian role model is defined by; their honesty, integrity, their humility and the way they love. Hebrews 13:7 says, “Remember your leaders who taught you the word of God. Think of all the good that has come from their lives, and follow the example of their faith.”

I’m sure you have had someone in your path that you have admired and perhaps patterned part of your life after. The world is screaming for honest, loving role models that have integrity. You may be that person, lead a life that others want and need to follow.

Hebrews 12:13 says, “Mark out a straight path for your feet so that those who are weak and lame will not fall but become strong.” We are making a way for ourselves and other people to follow us, whether we realize it or not. I just pray we are leading in words and deeds that express all that is good. I pray we are leading others to Jesus.

Prayer:
Lord, we are Jesus to the world. Sometimes that is a scary thought of how we are representing you, but as long as we call ourselves Christians, others are judging You by how we act and speak. Let our message, our lives, our confession be a reflection of You and not our old nature.
