In Awe of the Creator
Psalms 33:6-9 NLT
“The Lord merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born. He assigned the sea its boundaries and locked the oceans in vast reservoirs. Let the whole world fear the Lord, and let everyone stand in awe of him. For when he spoke, the world began! It appeared at his command.”
We know this is how the world started, we are sure of it in our hearts and minds. We teach our children and our grandchildren that God created everything that we see in the world. The world teaches a fable, a lie that all things happened by chance or by accident. They teach our children and grandchildren in school that creationism is a fairytale.
I had a college professor declare the first day in class the creationism was false. He purposefully put the question on our first exam; Is creation a viable theory? His answer was absolutely not. I will tell you I purposefully got that question wrong.
I am at awe when I see the beautiful skies. This evening I saw a gorgeous sunset over Payne’s Prairie, I was in awe of God. No matter what the school or university system states in their curriculum, my God created it all, and we were fearfully and wonderfully made.
I know for a fact that God spoke it all into existence by the Word of God. Beyond that, I have enough intelligence to look at the world and know this is the handiwork of God.
Prayer:
Lord, I stand in awe of You and Your handiwork. The world may think they came about by accident, that’s their loss, they will change their mind at the Great White Throne.
