Happy Thanksgiving!

Psalms 68:19 NLT

“Praise the Lord; praise God our Savior! For each day He carries us in His arms.”

Today, stay focused on the things that you are thankful for. Despite anything that goes wrong, be thankful that God is in control.

Lately, in the past few months, I have been praying for people and things that are going on in our family, business and ministry, but once I have asked, I have been saying to the Lord, not my will but Your will be done. That frees me up from thinking that things have to happen my way and in my time.

I know that God has a sovereign will and His will is better than anything that I can imagine. He wants the best for me, so instead of my expectations, I want what He thinks is the best way to handle every situation.

I grew up in a church that said we had to storm the throne room of God. No, my God knows exactly what I need before I ask. So, I will go to the Father for you and me and my family and ask for His perfect will for us to be done and expect His goodness and mercy.  

I relinquish control and I give Him full control and then I will just thank Him and praise Him for what He has done, what He is doing and what He is going to do in our lives even before it is manifested.

Today, give Him thanks, give him control, let Him show Himself to be the great God that He is.

Prayer:

Father, I am thankful for You, Your Son, and Your Holy Spirit. I’m thankful for the millions of small miracles that You have done in my life. I’m thankful for redemption, salvation and the millions of second chances that You have given me. You are awesome, mighty, Holy, more than wonderful and Your love is astounding to me! Thank You for Being You, Amen!
