Remember When
Psalms 103:1-5 ESV
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
In this Psalm, David is saying remember how God delivered, remember all God’s benefits. Remember the God who forgave our sins.
Remember the times He healed, restored, strengthened, and encouraged.
Remember how He picked us up and brought us out and set our feet on solid ground again. Remember His mercy and His grace. Remember how He gave us strength when we were weak or burdened down and lifted the load of cares off of us.
Remember when He was good to us and brought us someone who cared. Remember His great love and how He cared for us.
Today, remember the goodness of our God to us and our family and friends. He has been extremely patient with us all.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for redemption, thank You for seeing me far away and You brought me near to You and loved me and cared for me like no other. I love Your presence, Lord, I love when You show up right on time and deliver me. I love You for loving me and my family. I love You because I am always on Your mind. I remember all of your benefits Lord God!
