Isaiah 61:3 ESV

“To grant to those who mourn in Zion— to give them… the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit…”

The garment of praise is a metaphor for being clothed in thankfulness and praise for the Lord. God said He gives us the garment of praise as a part of the healing process.

I believe when we are spiritual and emotion exhausted, we have to choose to put on the garnet of praise for that heavy spirit we are feeling.

David said that when he was down and wiped out he would say to himself, “Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him…” (Psalms 43:5)
