All Things

Romans 11:31 ESV
“For from Him (God) and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever. Amen.”

Everything that is in the universe came from God to start with. He is the Creator and the source of all that is good. God is the source of all things, He holds all things together. He is active and present in the work of keeping the universe running.

All things that exist continue through Him. Not only the universe but also all that is going on, on the earth. We are His handiwork; all we see that is beautiful and good is because of Him. James 1:17 says, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”

All things are to Him or for Him. Everything that exists has been made for God’s purposes and glory. You and I are made for His glory, and we were designed to reflect His glory. Nothing exists that doesn’t serve His great plan and purpose for all things.

If we are proud of who we are or proud of our accomplishments, it is not for our glory, but for God’s glory. He has made us in His likeness for His glory. All that we do good is for His glory. Who we are and what we attain is for His glory.

We really do not have any bragging rights, He gave us the strength and ability to accomplish all things. What’s more, our possibilities are ENDLESS because of His glory and power that works in us.

Prayer:
Lord God without you I’m just a lump of clay, but when I was fashioned by your hands, I became a reflection of your glory. That is all I ever want to be Father, a reflection of You! In Your Mighty name Lord God Almighty, Amen!
