Wiping Away the Bad Thoughts and Memories
Isaiah 41:10-12 ESV
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Behold, all who are incensed against you shall be put to shame and confounded; those who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish. You shall seek those who contend with you, but you shall not find them; those who war against you shall be as nothing at all.”
To cover this backwards; those who rise up against us will be “put to shame and confounded,” that’s justice for our cause and vindication. Those who have fought against us, their memory has been hanging around long enough. They are gone!
Even if we search for them in our memory, God is wiping away that memory because He is causing the great new memories that He is making in us to crowd out those bad memories. Those people and their memory are like “nothing at all.” Why?
God says, “…For I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
I love knowing God is taking our concerns personally!
Prayer:
Father, I can breath now, I can rest now, I can now find peace because You are wiping away the tears clearing out the pain that some have caused and You have become my vindication. Wipe away the bad memories, replace them with only good memories.
