“This is my comfort in my affliction, That Your word has revived me and given me life.”

I have studied the Bible for 45 years, it never gets old and it is always relevant to today’s needs. I have found that God’s word has sustained me in every phase of life. The Bible has the answers for personal application, social aspects, facts of how to conduct business and of course the sustainability, growth and renewal of my spiritual life.

Whatever you need, the Bible has the answers. Most people do not seek out its wisdom because they feel like it is too old or just a book of stories. The Bible contains everything we need for life and how to live a godly life. Most people do not know how to search out its wisdom. I’ve heard every excuse under the sun why people do not seek out the wisdom of the Bible.

If you find a good Bible dictionary and a good topical Bible or something like a Strongs concordance you will be able to find anything and everything you need to know in the Bible for all your situations. As David says in this passage; “This is my comfort in my affliction, that Your word has revived me and given me life.” Whether that is what you need or any other answers or needs, the Bible can revive you and give you life.

Father, enlighten my eyes and my mind to know the truths and promises of your word.
