Proverbs 10:12 AMP
“Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers and overwhelms all transgressions [forgiving and overlooking another’s faults].”

Our Heavenly Father always loves us. Some people see God as a judgmental God, but He is NOT. He is a God that loves us no matter where we are mentally, physically and spiritually.

We are told; “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. (1John 4:7-8 ESV) If he or she genuinely loves, they know God, and God knows them.

Non of us are perfect, we all have things in our lives that rub people the wrong way, So being imperfect, we learn to forgive those who are imperfect. We strive to be like God, to love like God but we often fall short.

God’s grace covers over all our sins and our sins are washed underneath the blood of Jesus, should we not forgive one another as He forgives us. 1 Corinthians 13:4-6 says, “…love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”

“Love covers over all transgressions” (Proverbs 10:12)

Prayer:
Father, I know I am not always lovable, thank you for loving me despite myself. Teach me to love like You love!
