John 9:4 NKJV

“I must work the works of Him (God) who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.”

Jesus had an allotted time to do the works that He did on earth. God gave Him perimeters and when that time was over and Jesus Christ was the sacrifice for our sins once and for all God would take Him back to heaven.

We have the same perimeters but we have no idea when our day (time on earth) will be over. So, we have to work every day fulfilling God’s plan for our life. There is no time to be idle, we have to work for the kingdom while it is still day. Our time is coming when we will no longer have time to do what it is that God has for us to do here.

Jeremiah 29:11 says that God has a plan for you! Get busy, fulfill that plan!
