Praise Him Without Inhibition
Psalms 149:1-5 ESV
“Praise the Lord!
Sing to the Lord a new song, His praise in the assembly of the godly! Let Israel be glad in His Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King! Let them praise His name with dancing, making melody to Him with tambourine and lyre! For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; He adorns the humble with salvation. Let the godly exult in glory; let them sing for joy on their beds.”
God loves when we let go and just lose ourselves in Him. David did that in 2 Samuel 6:13-15: “And when those who bore the ark of the Lord had gone six steps… David danced before the Lord with all his might. And David was wearing a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the horn.”
No need to be demure or rigid when worshipping the Lord, let yourself go and give Him ALL the praise. As He takes pleasure in your uninhibited praise, He will take pleasure in you!
Prayer:
Lord, You have done EVERYTHING for me, I deserve to give You my all. You deserve my unselfish praise with all my heart, mind, soul and spirit.
