Isaiah 61:1 ESV
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor…”

This verse was prophecy of the ministry of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. His God given anointing was to bring good news, not just for the spirit but for mind, soul, spirit and the body.

We too can be anointed for this ministry as well when we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. He anointed us to do His work and greater works. He anointed His disciples to share the good news through out the known world.

That same good news circles the globe every day. That same anointing is on us so we can bring good news to everyone we come in contact with.

Prayer:
Father, thank you for anointing me with the ministry to share the good news with whoever I can. I possess the ability to bring them hope, eternal peace and security.
