Matthew 8:5-8,10 ESV
“When he had entered Capernaum, a centurion came forward to him, appealing to him, “Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, suffering terribly.” And He (Jesus) said to him, “I will come and heal him.” But the centurion replied, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant will be healed…When Jesus heard this, He marveled…”
What is the difference between little faith and faith that makes Jesus marvel when He sees it? If you have faith for something that is difficult to believe, then you have great faith. If you do not have faith for something that is relatively easy to believe, then you have little faith.
We all have been given a measure of faith (Romans 12:3). How we use that faith is what sets us apart. Jesus said if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you have enough faith to move mountains. He has given us what we need, we just have to exercise our faith.
Once we start exercising our faith, things begin to happen in our mind and in our hearts and soon we will step out in faith and see miracles and blessings that God has just waiting for us. To him who believes, all things are possible. (Mark 9:23)
Prayer:
Father, I believe, help my unbelief. Help me to exercise my faith daily, to trust and believe in You with all my heart and soul.
