Don’t Forget What He has Done
Psalms 103:3-5 NLT
“Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.
He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things.”
I know I have used this passage before, but I have to remind myself where all good things come from, all good things come from God. David used a curious phrase to start this passage off, he said, “let all that I am praise You.” Not all that is in me, but all that I am. Who am I? I’m a living being that was created to have a relationship with God. I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
I have been given special abilities and talents. I am a husband, father, brother, friend and a worshiper of All Mighty God. I am, all that He intended me to be. So, I use not just what I think I am to praise Him, but I praise Him with all the He designed me to be.
I was made to worship and praise Him. So, I praise You Father God because You, “forgive all my sins and heal all my diseases. You redeem me from death,”(You snatch me from the jaws of death). You crown me with love and tender mercies, (my crown is that people see Your love and favor over me). He fills my life with good things.
Prayer:
Father, if I sat down and tried to remember all the good that You have done in my life, I know I would miss more than half of them. For all that I remember, and all that I have forgot, and all that I never saw in the first place, thank You, I praise and adore You, You are my amazing Father!
