God Will Provide A Way

Romans 8:31b-32, 35

“…If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?”

This morning, our second day into a new year, determine to know only Jesus for every need. Paul says if God is for us, who (or what) can be against us. If God did not spare His only Son, will not that same God and Father graciously give us ALL things? Can anything that we are going through, or our family is going through, be too hard for God?

Nothing is too hard for God, not sickness, or cancer, or distresses, or financial woes, NOTHING is too hard for God! God loves us with an everlasting love, and He wants to do good things for His children, He wants to do good for me and for you.

I love the list that Paul gives for the things that CANNOT separate us from the love of God. Tribulation cannot separate us, neither can distresses in our lives and families lives (pain, sickness, sorrows), or persecution, or famine (not having enough to sustain us), or nakedness, or danger (any evil that satan can and will throw our way), or sword (fear of death), nothing can separate us from the love of God.”

We have the host of heaven cheering us on, God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are cheering us on and the angels are cheering us on. The next time we may be feeling down, listen to the cheering.

Prayer:

God, You are for us, therefore, nothing can be against us that really matters. With You by our side, we can do anything. No matter what this old year threw at us, we keep our eyes on You the author and finisher of our faith. The one who began a good work in us and the one who will finish a great work in us. What matters is that we follow You whole heartedly. In Your name Lord Jesus, Amen!
