Romans 10:10 NIV
“For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”

With the heart (the real you) you believes in Jesus then you are justified (free of sin and guilt). With your mouth (spoken from the heart) you profess (what you believe with your heart) then you are redeemed (set free in Jesus).
